AWS is about to launch data centers in UAE while Ibex obtains CE Mark for the breast-cancer detection

X-on completes its deployments for Surgery Connect in London and Manchester.

Amazon Web Services is planning to open an infrastructure region and data centers in UAE in 2022. This new AWS Middle East region will come with 3 Availability Zones. It will become the second region of AWS in the Middle East apart from Bahrain.

This initiative is aiming to offer the customers more flexibility and choice for leveraging technologies for cloud infrastructure. It is also allowing the customers to run with workloads and the data locally while benefiting the end-users. However, this expansion is the part of the AWS’s aim to build a current 80 availability Zones in 25 locations.

AWS is very excited about this plan. It will also be a momentum for their cloud adoption in the Middle East to provide more choice to the YAE Customers. This new AWS Region is supporting the focus of the UAE to promote the innovation of technology. With the new regions and organizations, they will be faster to serve the end-users with the low latency in that region.

Ibex Medical Analytics has managed to obtain the CE Mark for their Galen Breast solution. It has the user support of the pathologists to detect breast cancer. The CE Mark is following the results from a much blinded clinical study. Galen Breast has also explained that the accuracy in detection of cancer with the invasive and in-situ cancers distinguishes them with various types.

The solution is now available for the Ibex partners with the laboratories, health systems, and hospitals to use the AI in their diagnostic. Galen Breast has already ordered multiple labs with a wide network deployment as a leading pathology group in Europe.

The UK -Based cloud technology specialist X-on recently completed its two deployments for the Surgery Connect system. Also, it is now extending its take to 120 general practices in Manchester and London. Eighty GP is practicing with North Central London Clinical Commissioning Group. It has also opted for its products to enhance its communication for practice- patients. An additional estimation with one million patients is now getting support from the X-on surgery Connect product.

The US_based healthcare data company InterSystems has partnered with Oncodeigns to research more in oncology. On the other hand, the UK-based digital provider eConsult has acquired video consultation and SMS Platform Q Doctor.
